good kids.

you may (or may not, depending upon how observant you are) have noticed that

1 :: we're in the process of re-jigging the site around. on a mystery server
somewhere rests the bones of the new must destroy intyweb presence. it will
contain a whole pile of photos, writings, news and all manner of whathaveyou. expect it's arrival very soon.

2 :: for proper bang up to the minute news, we've been using our forum /
messageboard
thingy to get things up the second they land on tremendous
mike's desk.
so, if you wanna know what's goin' on as soon as we do, get yourself over to our forum.

(those folks registered to our forum will find themselves liable for winning guestlist places / white labels / badges / all sorts of must destroy tat. so
membership - as someone elses tagline goes - does indeed have it's privilages. you can also have a right ol' rant over there about whatever you fancy. come join).

MUST DESTROY... NEWS!!!

SLUDGEFEAST - 'Virtua-Rock' album out Sept 19th!!!!! download the 'Total Confusion' EP for FREE! NOW!! FUCK The Sludgefeast album, Virtua-Rock.

YEAH!!!! the time is very nearly upon us, kids! the 'Feast's second proper full-length release for Must Destroy is 'in the can' (as they say. maybe) and will hit the shelves of record stores on Monday 19th September, whether you like it or not.

as with previous Sludgefeast releases, it was recorded within the opulent grounds of Castle Feast with absolutely no expense spared... but Virtua-Rock far exceeds previous Feast output in terms of raw rock, overdriven bass frequencies and sheer exhilarating speaker-wrecking shit-rock mayhem. and, what's more, packaged alongside these 17 tracks of distortotastic awesomeness is a BONUS DVD!!

featuring not only all the 'Feast promotional videos so far and a whole heap of live tracks and stuff... but also the excellent mini-rockumentary DISASTOUR!!!!

bargain!

to prepare yourself for this momentous event you can download Sludgefeast's 'Total Confusion' EP (featuring a different version of Virtua-Rock's 'Total Confusion' and 3 exclusive non-album tracks) AND a the nice artwork to go with it, all for FREE! ain't we nice?

Sludgefeast will, of course, be hitting the stages of the UK (and Europe!) to support the release of Virtua-Rock... check back here or www.sludgefeast.com for more details as they happen!!!

JOHN PEEL R.I.P.

Words cannot express how sad we were to hear of the passing of Peely. We're sure we are not alone in saying that listening to John Peel's show as youngsters set us off on the path that resulted in us being here (wherever 'here' is) right now.

Peely was passionate about music (a trait most DJs today tend to deem unnecessary these days in their desperate clamber up the ladder of celebrity to the coveted position of being 'papped' by Heat having coffee with Sadie Frost in Primrose Hill).

He was - and always will be - a national treasure. but, most of all, he was a very nice man.

So... John. Thanks for all the support you gave us as a label. and thanks for... well... everything. Wherever you are, here's hoping they've got 'Teenage Kicks' on the jukebox.

Our hearts go out to Sheila and the kids.

The guys at Must Destroy.

Must Destroy is honoured to present... 'Golden Black... the Best Of GUITAR WOLF!!'

'Golden Black... the Best Of GUITAR WOLF!!'

more news soon. we just wanted to show you the sleeve and show off how awesome it is that we're getting to release this gem in the UK / Europe.

to coincide with the album, we'll be releasing a VERY limited Guitar Wolf / Sludgefeast split 7" too. more news on that as it happens.

those of you with an understanding of Japanese can see and hear Seiji talk about the release of 'Golden Black' ::

we at Must Destroy would like to dedicate the release of 'Golden Black' to the memory of Billy Bass Wolf.

Must Destroy makes new friends! releases single! is happy!

ladies and gentlemen, meet COMPUTERMAN.

Computerman come from the lovely English city of Nottingham (via Hull, Leicester & Wales) and they are, in our humble opinion, very ace. drawing influences from before they were born (OMD, Ultravox, ELO, Duran Duran, A-Ha, New Order) through the music of their youth (Super Furries, Mansun, New Order) right through to present day (Mew, Interpol, New Order, Duran Duran), Computerman excel at the sort of guitar/synth-driven indie pop-rock that can only really be pulled off to perfection by young men from Northern England (well... Nottingham's *nearly* north, innit? more north than south anyways)

anyway... it's still a little while away yet (in fact, as this is being typed, they haven't even finsihed recording and mixing it yet), but the debut Computerman release - mid October-ish, seeing as you ask - will be the single 'No More Broken Hearts' / 'Watch More Television'.

it will be released as a lovely limited edition red vinyl 7" single, and the sleeve will look like this :: it will also be made available as an EVEN MORE LIMITED EDITION CDsingle which will feature an extra track 'No_Recover [demo]'. this'll be super limited (basically, we're having to manufacture some for promo, so any leftover will be available to buy... but we're not talking many in the scheme of things) so you're advised to get on it quick when the time comes. just a heads-up, cos you're our mates. until then... why not listen to 3 other tracks (and 'No_Recover' too) and make friends with Computerman an' all. between now and the release of the single, Computerman will be playing dates up and down the country. we'll keep you informed. (or you can always keep an eye on their website too :: ) alright. more news as it happens.
